Our Lady of Fatima gives great importance to the celebration of childhood and child rights. It is our pleasure to observe Children’s Day every year. This year the programme on 14th November’2015 was full of enjoyment and happy times. The function was initiated by a Prayer Service conducted by our respected Sisters followed by a whole colourful performance given by teachers. A bog group of teachers participated out of love for the children. There were three group dances from Primary and Secondary sides. A speech by Mrs. Noor-ul-Ain on the relevance of this day. Antakshari among teachers, conducted by a group of students was quite enjoyable. Children loved the Qawwali staged towards the end. Our Principal Sr. Deepti gave a speech befitting the occasion – inspiring the children to love themselves and spend this important stage of their lives understanding the message given by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, in whose memory this day is celebrated. The programme ended with a prize distribution for the current year C.C.A. in all the classes.
